Ride your bicycle in the park with the kids or simply chase the kids around the house to get mid afternoon exercise and burn some extra calories.

Dinner

Don't eat food while preparing the dinner meal. This is one sure way to pack on the extra pounds. Instead, avoid tasting bits of food during meal preparation. Eat a low calorie, nutritious meal at the table with the family. Enjoy low calorie soups and salads. Add fresh fruits and a small serving of chicken or salad. Don't forget to drink plenty of water during the day.
